What Does Selah Mean?
Selah appears 74 times in the Psalms. Biblical scholars still debate exactly what it means.
The most widely held view is that it was a musical instruction – a pause, a breath, a moment to stop and let what was just said sink in. Some translate it as "lift up." Others as "reflect." All of them point to the same thing: stillness in the middle of something important.
In a world that moves fast and rewards noise, Selah is a counter-cultural word. It asks you to stop. To sit with what God has just said or done. To let it land before you move on.
That's why it's in the SEALED collection.
Not as decoration. As a reminder. Worn on the chest, carried through the day – a quiet prompt to pause, even when everything around you says keep going.
If you know what it means, you know why you'd want to wear it. If you don't, it might just make you look it up.
